Logistics centre

The Logistics Centre provides 71,000 m² of space for the storage and distribution of goods. The infrastructure includes 30,000 m² of warehouses for low- and high-density storage, with clear heights of 6 and 9 metres, designed to accommodate different categories of goods and handling systems. It offers road-to-road warehouses, with direct access from the road yard, and road-to-rail facilities connected to the railway terminal, enabling the rapid transfer of ITUs. The spaces are suitable for non-food storage, cold-chain logistics, B2B distribution and pharmaceutical logistics. In the latter area, the facility hosts the healthcare logistics hub of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, with the storage and distribution centre of ARCS (Azienda Regionale di Coordinamento per la Salute). This presence confirms Interport Pordenone's ability to support high-value-added supply chains, ensuring rigorous traceability and temperature-control standards.

Wholesale trade

The Wholesale Centre extends over 91,000 m² and serves as a leading B2B district in North-Eastern Italy for non-food wholesale trade. This specialised ecosystem hosts warehouses and facilities designed for the efficient distribution of goods throughout the Triveneto area and European markets. The integrated presence of sector operators, together with cooperation with Promingros Srl, facilitates the development of partnerships and strengthens commercial networks. Proximity to customs brokers and Multi Transport Operators (MTOs) ensures smooth logistics flows towards the main international hubs. The area's production system encompasses a wide range of sectors: software development, hardware products, industrial automation, professional clothing, office supplies and services for the civil, industrial and healthcare sectors.

Customs

The Customs Area extends over 23,000 m² and hosts the Territorial Operational Section (SOT) of the Customs and Monopolies Agency. The centralisation of procedures on site ensures maximum efficiency in customs clearance operations, optimising logistics flow times for companies based at the hub. This area operates in close synergy with the 71,000 m² allocated to customs brokers and MTOs. The hub manages import, export and transit declarations, authorisations for customs procedures, domiciliation procedures and warehouse management in full. The facility also provides specialised regulatory assistance and support in obtaining AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) status. In the excise sector, integrated services include inspection and authorisation functions, accounting controls for energy products and alcoholic beverages, certification of DAA and DAS documents, and the issuing of licences for retail sales.

Workshops

Interport Pordenone dedicates 52,000 m² to technical infrastructure and workshops, creating an integrated service centre for industrial vehicles. The centralisation of maintenance operations within the logistics area actively supports the operational continuity of transport companies. The workshops are equipped with advanced tools for routine and specialised maintenance of heavy vehicles, supported by a dedicated spare-parts warehouse ensuring the immediate availability of the necessary components. The offer is completed by services for fleet sales and upgrades, as well as an area specifically equipped for technical testing. This concentration of services facilitates the efficient management of vehicle fleets, in seamless continuity with daily logistics operations.

Civil motor vehicle authority

Interport Pordenone integrates the Provincial Civil Motor Vehicle Authority Office (UMC) within its infrastructure, allocating 12,000 m² to institutional activities, including a purpose-built technical yard. This strategic presence provides a high-value local service for logistics operators and companies in the area, centralising administrative and technical procedures to optimise fleet management. The centralisation of operations allows procedures to be carried out seamlessly alongside daily workflows. Essential services provided on site include driving tests for heavy-vehicle licences (categories C, CE, D, DE) and the Driver Qualification Card (CQC). The infrastructure also supports technical testing, periodic inspections of commercial and industrial vehicles, as well as extraordinary inspections and technical examinations for vehicles with specific configurations.

Rail service

The rail terminal of the Pordenone Interport is a strategic logistics hub connecting the production network to Central and Eastern European markets and to Italy's main port facilities. The infrastructure provides a well-established intermodal transport system, ensuring regular frequencies, cargo traceability and on-time delivery. Operational activities include internal rail shunting, supported by a 750-metre siding compliant with European standards for freight transport, and full management of Intermodal Transport Units (ITUs). Loading, unloading, transhipment and storage of containers, swap bodies and semi-trailers are supported by 40,000 m² of rail-connected warehouses. The terminal is also equipped to accommodate rolling motorway (Ro-La) trains, enabling the transport of complete articulated lorries by rail to optimise long-distance routes to Central Europe. Shifting freight flows from road to rail contributes to a tangible reduction in CO₂ emissions along the supply chain, supporting partner companies in achieving their ESG targets.

Europa parking area

The Europa parking area is the heavy-vehicle parking facility of Interporto Pordenone, opened in April 2026 as part of the infrastructure improvement plan that involved the entire logistics hub. Built together with the new access roundabout, the car park has obtained the Bronze level European Safe Parking certification guaranteeing greater security for vehicles, goods and drivers. The ability to park inside the hub, close to the customs office, the intermodal terminal, the workshops and the civil motorisation office, allows hauliers to plan stops and departures in continuity with operational activities, optimising travel times. The use of the area is governed by specific regulations, available in eight languages (Italian, English, Albanian, Russian, German, French, Spanish and Romanian).
